WHERE WE BEGAN

The protest began on Victoria Avenue. Lots of people gathered on the sidewalk commercing and making their presence known. Cars driving by were just as loud as the people walking, cheering with pride.

A DAY FOR PROTEST

My task was to photograph the entire experience. I was to capture pure moments throughout the day and really tell a story with my picures.

READY FOR CHANGE

People wore shirts reading "dark skin is not a crime" and cameout dressed in black clothing.

COMING TOGETHER

At this point the protest hadn't started yet and we were gathering people from the streets.

SHOUT IT OUT

A crowd of protesters here shouting chants with their signs speaking truth.

HE WILL GO FAR

Maddex Tran, a nine year old in this photo was being interviewd by a local news team from CHCH.

THE PRESENTATION

The walk would come down by the Whirlpool Rapids Bridge. Where we spoke and yelled out chants.

THE TURNOUT

A view from the top of the bridge. The volume of people is expressed and this is where the protest came to a close. A historic day for the cause and the people of Niagara Falls.
